The 3-time MLF Elite Champs are back to defend their MLF Elite crown. Only this title defense is going to be the most difficult defense yet. MLF Elite has been New York/New Jersey based however things have changed. The MLF Elite has gone through a complete overhaul and features teams as far south as Virginia Beach to include Maryland and Washington DC. The Brooklyn Seminoles will have their hands full figuring out this new swarm of teams. Being the champions that they are, they will be up for the challenge. Seminoles Head Coach Tony Spina says, “We tried to spread our wings however, teams these days run away from the competition. So, coming back home to defend our title is the best thing for us”. Brooklyn Seminoles have amassed several league championships as well as several National championships and see no reason not to repeat once more.

The following teams are part the 2022 MLF Fall Lineup:

1. Brooklyn Seminoles (Brooklyn, New York)

2. East Penn Raiders (Leigh Valley, PA)

3. Capital City Seahawks (Washington DC)

4. Virginia Royals (Richmond, VA)

5. Central Penn Piranha (York, PA)

6. Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD)

7. Maryland Dolphins (Capital Heights, MD)

8. Tri-State Bulldawgs (Oxon Hill, MD)

The return of the Seminoles is great piece to the MLF Elite puzzle. League Commissioner Lavar Matthews says, “You must play the best to be the best. Our fall line-up will bring out the best in all these teams from a competition standpoint. Retaining the Brooklyn Seminoles and working with Coach Spina proves our commitment to competition.”

Unfortunately, do several key injuries on the Woodland DC Tigers they will not be fielding a Fall team in 2022 and are returning for Spring 2023. However, the MLF Elite: Fall has extended its recruiting window to 15 June 2022 to allow for the replacement of the Tigers.

BREAKING NEWS: MAJOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL (MLF) ELITE ANNOUCE ITS FIRST 6 TEAMS FOR THE 2022 SUMMER/FALL SEASON.

Taking advantage to the momentum gained from the first MLF Elite Spring season (currently in progress). Major League Football Elite has announced its first 6 teams for Fall 2022.

1. Capital City Seahawks (Washington DC)

2. Virginia Royals (Richmond, VA)

3. Central Pen Piranha (York, PA)

4. Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD)

5. Woodland DC Tigers (Washington, DC)

6. Maryland Dolphins (Capital Heights, MD)

The 2022 MLF Elite is under new management and has big plans. New league President James Crowell says “Acquiring the MLF was a great honor, and we have plans to keep it going for many years to come. We will continue to honor the tradition of brotherhood and great football in the MLF, but we will tweak a few things for the better.” A few things Crowell has already tweaked are adding back the All-Star game, player of the week winners, and game of the week streaming.

The MLF Elite is currently in talks with 2021 Champions Brooklyn Seminoles, and several other well-respected organizations to complete the 2022 roster of teams. The goal for the MLF Elite is 12 to 14 teams spanning from New York City to Virginia Beach.

Commissioner LaVar Matthews says “The formal announcement of the first 6 teams sets the focus area, but we are not done yet. We really want to push to keep that New York, New Jersey, and Philly base in the league, as well as add more Virginia teams, so we are going to keep pushing”.

The MLF Elite also has plans to spread Nationally across the United States. Within 5 years the MLF National Elite would like to have MLF leagues in multiple regions and states. This is what Crowell calls his National expansion plan. For more information about the MLF Elite: www.mlfaction.org

The MLF-Elite Fall season will compte in the standard MLF-Elite season, fall 2022. We are still accepting team application for the MLF-Elite Fall season. Any team interested, please contact us. 

The MLF-Elite Fall is a separate league that is part of the MFL-Elite National organization. 

July 8, 2021 MLF 2021 Season

To all our family and friends supporting the MLF family:

We have all been introduced to a very uncomfortable normal of late. I look over the last 14 years of this great iconic football family and I see where we were when we began back in 2007 and how many great football organizations, Hall of fame coaches and certainly the greatest players to ever play the game on the East Coast have come through these gates.

I look at the many new faces of players and the tried and trusted face of our vets and I feel a sense of change. WE all came to this game looking for relief, something of purpose and to do something we love. Today at this very moment our country is in crisis. Our everyday way of living is being challenged like we have never seen before. People are at odds with a process that is pressing them to their core. I wanted to do something totally different and thank all of the people who are in the background. The ones who are the true weekday and Weekend warriors! The ones who are putting it all on the line so WE the people can get better from sickness, have a safe place to live and a free country to travel in. YES, WE are a football league and family made up of Fathers, Mothers, Sons and Daughters even Grandpas and Grandmas.

The MLF ELITE are Thankful for the Doctors, Nurses, Ambulance drivers and techs, Police Officers, Firemen and care takers and even the funeral directors who have all been pushed to their limits and still performed at the highest level expected. The soldiers who continue to sacrifice their lives for this
country and their families who support them as do we.

WE in the MLF ELITE dedicate this season to you! Yes the season of perseverance! The season of needed understanding! The season of coming together as a nation! The reconstruction of a nation learning how to LOVE.
